GUARANTEES FOR CLASSES

(1) See the Class Cancellation Policy, listed below.  (2) Woodworking classes, both standard and custom, are as such intended for educational purposes as much as product or merchandise purposes.  Puget Sound Woodworking is not responsible for defects in craftsmanship or function for items that are made with students, and as such offers no guarantees thereof.

 

PRICES

All prices are listed in U.S. dollar figures and reflect our most recent pricing. Any published errors in pricing or specification are subject to correction.

 

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Gift certificates may be purchased in any amount. They may be redeemed for merchandise or classes at the store or by mail, phone, or internet. Gift Certificates may not be redeemed for cash.

SHIPPING INFORMATION AND FREIGHT CHARGES


Unless specifically noted on the product description page, for all order to the continental United States (lower 48 states), we provide STANDARD shipping and handling rates of $10 for orders from 0 to 5 lbs. and $20 for heavy goods orders between 5 and 20 lbs.  International orders are $20 standard.  These rates apply for all items not otherwise specified.  These STANDARD Shipping orders will ship either USPS Mail or UPS Ground at our discretion. Please note that these charges are meant to cover not only the shipping costs but also the handling and processing costs involved.

For large heavy items shipped by truck, we will quote the lowest freight rate available depending on your destination and the weight of the tool. The shipping charge will not show on your web order form, but will be added to your credit card total. We will contact you for approval prior to shipping your order. Some destinations may require pickup from a freight terminal.

Actual shipping and handling costs are charged on US shipments outside the 48 contiguous states, and will not show on your web order form. These will be added to your credit card total. We will contact you for approval prior to shipping your order.

Items shipped to destinations outside the U.S. and Canada are shipped by air, and an extra shipping charge will apply. Minimum order for overseas shipment is $100.00, and must be paid for by charge card. Applicable taxes & duty will be charged when due.  Special services may entail additional charges. We will contact you for approval prior to shipping your order.  We do not ship electrical tools outside of the US.

 

SALES TAX
No sales tax is charged or collected on orders shipped outside of Washington. Deliveries within Washington are subject to local sales tax rates on order total, including shipping charges.

AGE LIMIT
Students must be at least 18 years of age.

 

CLASS CANCELLATION AND RE-SCHEDULING POLICIES:

For individually purchased classes (for standard, NON-CUSTOM curriculum):

In order to maintain adequate class sizes, Puget Sound Woodworking reserves the right to cancel any class.  Full refunds will be issued in that event. Customer-originated cancellations occurring more than 31 days before start of a class will also be issued full credit or refund.  Customer cancellations occurring 14-31 days before the start of any class will be charged a 50% cancellation fee without exception.  No refund or credit will be issued for individual class cancellations given with less than 14 days notice.

Students requesting to re-schedule their previously registered for class to another scheduled session more than 31 days before the start of EITHER session may do so with no re-scheduling fee applying.  Students requesting to re-schedule their previously registered for class to another scheduled session within 31 days before the start of EITHER session will be subject to a late scheduling change fee of 50% of the original class tuition.  This scheduling change can only occur per the discretion of Puget Sound Woodworking and only in the event of spaces being available.

For group-scheduled and vacation classes:

Puget Sound Woodworking reserves the right to cancel any class.  Full refunds will be issued in that event. Group and vacation classes are not publicly advertised for purchase and as such require ~50% payment for all students in advance of the class to lock in the time and dates.  No scheduling is made without the advance prepayment.  Any cancellations or changes need to be made at least 45 days prior to the start of the class. No refunds for groups are available after that time.  Any cancellation occurring more than 45 days before the start of any scheduled group or vacation class will be charged a 25% cancellation fee without exception and is for the group as a whole only.
